Personally, I feel as though the Deluxe Hero's Handbook seems to have a bit more extra stuff than it needs. I know that the illustrations are different, and that the Deluxe Hero's Handbook has the Quickstart Character Generator (the main reason I want the GM's kit) and that it has two adventures in it. I'm planning on getting Mutants and Masterminds 3rd edition for Christmas, but while I know to aim for the GM Kit and Gamemaster's Guide, I'm wondering what the difference is between the Hero's Handbook and the Deluxe Hero's Handbook
